Year 5/6 Girls Triumph AGAIN!

I am never normally lost for words however the outstanding achievement shown by all participating today in the KS2 Girls Cricket competition has left me speechless!

Led by amazing captains, Amirah for Team A and Mahek for Team B, the girls showed a fantastic growth mind-set as they battled their way to the finals, improving in every game!

All the children put their incredible bowling and fielding skills to use! A special mention to the captains,  Labibah and Jannah for their batting in the final and finally to Labiba Yr5 who stepped out of her comfort zone and showed great skill. All the children worked fantastically as part of a team, encouraging each other the whole time. Overall, Team B finished 3rd and Team A won the final against a very strong Marner side.  A huge well done to all those involved – I am so proud of you all.
