BMX champion inspires Virginia pupils to be the best they can be!

This morning Mike Mullen, a former world champion BMX rider, came to Virginia Primary School. He was relaunching our "be the best you can be" programme with the children. Mike told us all about his journey to being world champion; his successes and disasters and how he never gave up! He gave the children 3 basic rules, never give up, find a great role model and believe in yourself! These are the messages we hope will have an impact on the children here at Virginia. The Be the Best You Can Be initiative was inspired by the London 2012 Olympic Games, with the aim of helping young people discover their unique potential!
