Happy half term!Today is the last day of term. I hope you have a well deserved rest - you have all worked so hard this term and have made me so proud!! We have been doing a weekly run on Friday mornings and the children have been enjoying it and developing their stamina with running- today we did 9 laps of the pitch. Great job year 3 !! Half term homework-Design a Stone Age toolThe children have loved learning about the Stone Age - you have remembered all of the facts so well. Your task for the holiday is to design your own Stone Age tool . You can draw and label your tool in your book. Here are some questions to think about : What job does your tool do? What is your tool made of? Draw and label your tool in your homework book. Once you have done this you could have a go at making your tool (you can make it out of anything that you have at home). (I forgot to give these books out on the last day of term- I will give them out on the Monday when we get back to school) Well being homework
Tell me something you are proud of this term ( you all have lots of things to be proud of!!) Use the sentence starter I am proud of myself because ..... For example- I am proud of myself because ........ I am kind to others. I try hard in my learning. I don't give up. I use my voice to speak up about things. SpellingsLook, say, cover, write, check is a method of learning spelling, where children:
