Write a short diary entry for Annabelle. You could begin with - 'Today I found...' Remember to use your phonics to help you to sound out words and use finger spaces between each word. Here is the phonics mat and high frequency word mat to help you.

PE:
Get warmed up with Eki and do some stretches together, then have a go at Spiderman/Joe Wicks's workout. Remember it is important to exercise to keep our bodies and minds healthy.
Finally, I wanted to share this lovely picture of Ismail and Tamara in their clothes which are from Saudi Arabia. They wore them for our live lesson too and put a smile on everyone's faces!

We are going to continue to explore which numbers can be shared equally and which cannot. You do not have to draw everything out. Challenge: Hamid has 20 sweets altogether. He has four friends coming to tea. Is he able to share the sweets between himself and his friends so that they all have the same amount? Show how you have done your calculations.
PSHE:
It is really important that we all look after ourselves at the moment and this included our mental health (our thoughts and feelings), as well as our physical health (our bodies). Emily is our Emotional Literacy Support Assistant, which means she helps children to look after their feelings and manage their behaviour. We are very sad to not be able to welcome you back to school just yet, but we have lots planned for you all! We will begin Home Learning from tomorrow. You will need to check the blog each morning for your tasks for the day and send your work to me at vpsyear1class@virginia.towerhamlets.sch.uk Home Learning will look a little different this time, as we will be having live lessons each day initially via Zoom.
Live lessons will take place either between 10-10.30am or 12-12.30pm each day. You will be expected to complete your work every day just like in school and you will be expected to join in all of the live lessons.
