Which containers hold more than a litre?  Which containers hold less than a litre?  
  • First fill up a litre bottle/measuring jug with 1 litre of water.
  • Test lots of different containers to see if they can hold a litre of water or not.  You will need some adult help.  Make sure that you do your measuring over a sink or in the bath.
  • Record your findings in a table.

Enjoy this story read by Eki, it is one of my favourites - 'Mr Big' by Ed Vere. 

It shows us that it is important not to judge others based on how they look.  Mr Big is definitely not as big and scary and he seems to others.
