Our new topic is all about animals and...us! We will looking at the animals we have as pets - and how we care for them. We will think about the role of vets and how they help animals, and also of animal shelters. We'll be taking a closer look at some of the animals we use for every day things, such as the bees that work to make our honey, the sheep that provide our wool and the birds that lay our eggs. Think carefully about what you have learnt from Amanda about caring for a puppy or dog. Can you answer these questions? You may need to watch the video again. What does Chester do first thing in the morning? How many times a day does Chester need to be taken for a walk? What does Amanda need when she takes Chester for a walk? How many times does Chester have to eat a day? What does Chester eat? Why does Amanda have to brush his fur? Would you like a dog as a pet? Why? You do not need to write the answers to these questions. Just tell your grown up the answer - you can video some of your answers if you like. I would love to hear about what you have learnt :) We can talk about the answers to these questions in tomorrow's live zoom.
