This week we are going to be thinking about Scientists for our topic ‘People Who Help Us.’ Scientists help us every day. They test and mix ingredients to make medicines, they discover new things, they figure out how things work and lots more!

We’re going to be Scientists this week, so let’s make some pretend science goggles today and let’s experiment!

We’re going to see what happens when we put sugar and salt in some water! Have a go at home. Think about what might happen and observe. Mark make with your grown up what you can see happening.

Measure your jugs of water so that they are FULL to the top, half full and then when you’re finished make your jugs EMPTY! Parents, encourage children to use the mathematical language of capacity.
