Some of you have asked if you can have them in advance to practise! Can you identify the difference between the words? For Literacy, log onto PURPLE MASH and complete the 2do'S about Charles Darwin. You can create a postcard from the Galapagos Islands!
In Maths, we have been busy with multiplication! Take a look at the puzzle and see if you can solve it! We will go through this next week in class! Finally it would be great for you to try and log into your own google accounts that we have set you up with. Create a google doc and save it in your drive. Lets start with our spellings and hand writing for the week! We are reading the beginning of Macbeth! How exciting! Read and annotate the opening.
We have been learning about Charles Darwin too. Research him and complete a fact file on him using the purple mash 2do.
Charles Darwin's voyage to the Galapagos Islands was life changing. Using the purple mash 2do write a postcard about your trip on the HMS Beagle and what you discovered on the island. In maths we have been focusing on multiplication and problem solving: Try these problems and use efficient written methods or jottings to help you. To end the week practise some great mindfulness yoga and write a reflection of your week Have a great week!
