Happy last Friday of half term 12.2.21

Good Morning Year 6!

How are you on the last day of spring term 1? We have made it through a whole term remote learning! Thank you for all your hard work and attending your lessons! Thank you to your parents too for supporting you and us with your learning and making sure we are connected during this challenging time! It is truly time for a screen break and rest before next term and hopefully we will be back in our classrooms soon!
You have sent me so many great videos and pictures from your challenges this week- Please see our school twitter or on our Google stream for your fabulous work!

I hope that you have a great half term- please try and stay screen free and have a digital detox! I will turn off the Google stream but you can still hand in any outstanding work through assignments. This half term : go for walks, write a diary, read your favourite books, spend quality time with your family.

This afternoon I would like you to take on the aluminium foil boat challenge! Can you create a tin foil boat and make it float? Easy?? Ok... how many pennies (or other items) can you fill it with before it sinks? Let's take on the challenge as a class! Send in your pictures or videos and results! I can't wait to see whose boat floats holds the most items!
