Reading:
Read through these sight words

• Can you read them all? 
• Which ones do you need to learn?
• Make a list of the words you need to learn and keep practising them throughout the week. 
• If you can read them all then learn how to spell all of the words correctly.

English:
Today we are going to write captions.  Remember a caption is a sentence which describes what is happening in a picture.

1. Retell the story to your family 

2. Read the next part of the story (see slides below)

3.  Write a caption for each of the 3 pictures below.  Use the word bank to help you.

Maths:
Today we are going to continue with our work on Capacity.

Which containers hold more than a litre?  Which containers hold less than a litre?  

• First fill up a litre bottle/measuring jug with 1 litre of water.
• Test lots of different containers to see if they can hold a litre of water or not.  You will need some adult help.  Make sure that you do your measuring over a sink or in the bath.
• Record your findings in a table.
