Well done for another fantastic week of learning reception :) Here is our 'initial sound' phonics challenge this weekend. Can you spot all the pictures that begin a 's' sound? If you were confident at this activity, you could try this one, too! Copy and label the pictures using the sounds we have learnt.
Well done for another fabulous week everybody :) We took our first trip out to explore the local area this week with a visit to Ravenscroft Park! The children enjoyed playing imaginative games on the rocks and grass, challenging themselves on the equipment and thinking of their own ways to move around and play games. Writing our names This weekend, have a go at writing your name. Make sure you start with a capital letter, form your letters correctly and check with a name card when you've finished. Here is a mat that shows where we start each letter of the alphabet. Once you've used a pencil, why don't you try painting your name? Or using chalk or wax crayon? You could even try writing it in the mud!
