Year 5 Weekly Isolation Blog

Hi Year 5,

If you are self-isolating this week then you will still need to be working hard at home and showing a growth mindset with your learning.  I will be posting each week with a list of tasks and lessons for you. Please follow the lessons and make your way through the timetable over the week. Please complete a maths, literacy and topic lesson each day. Give yourself plenty of breaks and time to rest in between. Share your work with me on Purple Mash or ask your parents to email it to [email protected]

Maths:

Start each maths lesson with some of our CLIC starters. Create a fact family for any simple number fact. Use that fact to create a list of 10 PIM facts. Finally create a 5 digit number and use jigsaw to find a number bond.

P.E: Make sure you get up from your seat and exercise daily. Try to go for a walk or jog in your local area with a family member. Here is a link to follow at home if you can't get out.
