Year 5 Online Learning

Hi Year 5,

Here is our daily timetable. We start online learning on Thursday. This week will mostly be a understanding how to use Google Meet, catch up, setting our online rules and charter.

8.45- 9 - Handwriting and spelling practice. I will set some spellings each week. You can use the words to practice your spellings or come up with sentences that go with the words. Try to ask an adult to test you on Fridays.

9.00 - 9.30 - Log into Serial Mash. Read a chapter and answer the questions that go with that chapter.

9.30 - 10.00 - Log into Google Classrooms and join our live Google Meet for your Literacy lesson.

10.00 - 11.00 - Complete and hand in your literacy work

11.00 - 11.30 - Break Time

11.30 - 12.00 - Log into Google Classrooms and join our live Google Meet for your Maths lesson.

​12.00 - 1.00 - Complete and hand in your maths work

1.00 - 2.00 - Lunch time (you may have your lunch at any time but not during a live lesson)

2.00 - 3.30 - Complete your afternoon task and spend some time doing some exercise. I will try to post some fitness videos.

There will also be smaller support groups set up and you will have live intervention sessions with me, Anneka or Emily. We will contact you individually.
