I just wanted to post a quick reminder about how and where we access home learning for different reasons. Homework and Spelling Our homework and our spellings will be posted on our Purple Mash blog every Friday. We will check these out together in class every Friday afternoon. You can find our blog by clicking on Sharing, then Shared Blogs. Our blog is called Year 5 Homework Blog. Please access this to find them. I have provided you with a yellow book for all your home learning. Your yellow book stays at home to complete these tasks. Let me know when you have finished them and I will give you a new one. I have printed out Purple Mash logins and passwords for everyone. Please come to me if you forget your details. Here is a link to Purple Mash. https://www.purplemash.com/sch/virginia Extra challenges If you take home extra maths challenges or anything from class, please stick them in the yellow book and use the space for working out. Remember you can always ask me for support with anything you take home to do. Isolation If you or someone in your household shows symptoms of covid, you with have to self isolate for up to 2 weeks. If this was to happen then you will receive an email from Joan asking you to complete tasks on the Oak Academy website and which week to start from. All these lessons can be completed in your yellow books. Please send me emails with your favourite work and the things you are most proud of, just like we did during the first lockdown. Use the school email for this: admin@virginia.towerhamlets.sch.uk Here is a link to the Year 5 weekly schedule on the Oak Academy. https://classroom.thenational.academy/schedule-by-year/year-5 Thanks for all your hard work and keep up your amazing growth mindsets :) |
