¿Cómo estás? Estoy…(fenomenal/bien/regular/mal/fatal)
Welcome to our first online Spanish lesson!
As you might remember, we have started to learn how to say hello and goodbye, how to say how we’re feeling and how to ask someone’s name. I will keep posting videos and songs for you to practise this vocabulary while you’re at home.
This week we are going to move onto learning about the Spanish alphabet and how to count to 10. Did you know that in Spanish they say the letters differently to in English? They also have an extra letter that we don’t have!
This lesson comes from another teacher in London who has made some online lessons for while we are not able to go to school. In the video she talks in Spanish and English and gives you time to repeat the sounds and words after her, as well as explaining some new words.
There are also some activities where you will be asked to write things down so make sure you have a pen and some paper ready. It might be fun to do this with your siblings and any adults in the house. You could all learn Spanish together!
(The link says Year 3 but it’s the same video for Years 4, 5 and 6.)
If you have any questions, there is now a Spanish blog on Purple Mash where you can ask me questions and practise what you have learnt.
Buena suerte! (Good luck!)
