Buenas tardes! (Or maybe buenos días, depending on when you are reading this!)
In our weekly Spanish lessons, you will have been learning about the Spanish alphabet and how you say each letter. Have you noticed that in Spanish the letters are pronounced differently to in English? Sometime this can be quite confusing as we're learning the language, especially if the word in Spanish looks very similar to the work in English. This is a useful page on the BBC Bitesize website that explains in a bit more detail how the phonics in Spanish are different to the phonics in English. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zhy27nb/articles/zk78382 There are some videos and lots of different sound clips so you can become more confident in your Spanish, plus there's a quiz at the end. Buena suerte (Good luck) Ruth Comments are closed.
