I hope you have been ok and enjoying the last few days of the sunshine. We have many things this month to look forward to..
On the 4th March the school will celebrate World Book Day. I am so excited to read your stories based around the theme ' All About Me'. I know that Year 5/6 will be rewriting traditional tales- starring as the main character! (On Friday 12th March we will dress up as our favourite book characters).
But the most exciting news of all is that we are delighted to confirm that we will be welcoming ALL children back to school from Monday 8th March 2021!
All the staff at VPS will be doing everything we can to make sure that you can return to school safely.
I hope you enjoy reading the stories I have attached in this blog post and I look forward to seeing you all very soon.
Big smiles! Emily
How are you feeling about the return to school? It is ok to feel a range of emotions - some of us may be excited and bubbling in the green zone, but some of us may feel a little anxious and will be feeling in the yellow or blue zone.
It is OK to feel differently about coming back to school - but just know that there are people who can support and listen to you. Think about who you could talk to about how you feel? Or maybe write out your thoughts? You can ask your teachers/TAs any questions you would like to know about your safe return. This week you can use Google Streams/Purple Mash/ Live meets to find out more about coming back to school.
