THAMES SUMMER SINGING CHALLENGE Wednesday 6th May 2020
We’re delighted to launch the THAMES Summer Singing Challenge this week!
Over the next 6 weeks, we are encouraging children, families and schools to get singing! During these challenging times, when we’re stuck at home more and not able to see friends and relatives, we want to bring people together through the joy of singing. We hope that everyone will find this uplifting and fun, something to do together with your family, or for those still in school, with your fellow students and teachers. |
How the Singing Challenge will work
We will announce a new song every couple of weeks which we invite you to learn. We will provide lyric sheets and backing tracks. Check out the first song below!
The Singing Challenge will culminate on Friday 19 June. On this day, we invite you to:
1. Share your songs with your friends and families (or your classmates and teachers if you are at school);
2. Share a photo on social media tagging @THAMES music on Twitter and using the hashtag #THAMESsings;
3. Upload your photos here and we’ll create a Summer Singing Challenge photo album for the website.
NB please ensure parental consent is obtained before any photos are shared.
