Enriching the Curriculum
We provide children with opportunities to learn through movement, music, visually, by using the outside space and by exploring the rich environment that London and the wider world has to offer.
Trips
Trips to places of interest, museums, galleries and historical sites enhance and enrich learning in all curriculum areas and we encourage classes to plan them as part of topic work.
Residential Experiences
Music
We provide whole class violin teaching for two consecutive years, beginning in year 2 or 3.
Music is further developed through after school clubs and small group and 1:1 tuition.
See the Music and Singing page for more details
Swimming
The children begin to learn to swim in year 2 with a six week 'Aqua Fun and Float' course. They take part in swimming lessons every year, funded in part through our sports premium budget.
