Hello everyone,
Well done for all of your resilience and kindness you have all shown this term! In Year 6, we've had the Mental'Elf Elf who has been setting the children different missions of kindness and making us all laugh with his antics! It has been really great seeing you all using the 'Zones of Regulation' to regulate your emotions and to describe how you are feeling. It was amazing when I walked past Year 3 and heard Yahya I say in guided reading '' The boy is in the Green Zone''. If you haven't already seen it you MUST watch our AMAZING Jerusalema Video that has put smiles on so many faces! We've all had such a fab time putting it together. For the next two weeks make sure you all rest and take some time to look after your mental and physical wellbeing. I will add a list below of different websites you can explore. If you have a printer at home you may want to print some things out'. Don't worry if you don't have a printer! You can still access some of the activities and do it on paper :) Merry Christmas and let's hope for a very happy and healthy 2021. I also want you not to worry about the news of London going into Tier 4. Remember - these decisions are put in place to keep us all safe. It will be very sad if you don't get to see some of your family like planned but try think that there will be good times again - but for now we have to work together to keep each other safe. Keep positive - we will get through these difficult times together. P.s You children are all so kind to each other, and after reading your Christmas cards and seeing the ' Random Acts of Kindness' that has been happening in KS2- I was inspired to do something for the staff!
I asked Barbara, after seeing the idea on Twitter, if we could ask all your lovely parents and carers to send in messages of support to the teachers and support staff! Well they were absolutely AMAZING and all of us were so grateful for your kind words. |
