We will continue our home learning blog so we can all learn together! Let's start with literacy. This is the end of the first chapter.
Here is the opening for you to download too.
How do the children leave for school?
What kind of things does Malala think about?
What is the relationship like between Malala and Moniba?
What does the ending of the chapter tell us about Malala?
Imagine being told you can't go to school because of your gender. How would you continue learning even if it was against the law? Write about how you would feel and what you would do?
Use the first one to help you complete this multiplication matrix:
Once you've completed it - create one of your own. You can upload it onto purple mash for others to try!
Here is a multiplication Sahara challenge for you to try! Work out the boxes to find out the numbers around the grid! One is already there for you...
We have a mission to end global inequality, end extreme poverty and respect our planet by 2030!
*Pick one of the missions
*What does it mean and why does it need changing?
*What ideas do you have to make a difference?
*How will you achieve it?
*What can you invent?
*How will you campaign?
Create an information page answering the questions above- research about the campaigns and decide on which one you are interested in. You will present your ideas to us later in the term.
Enjoy your day of learning. We will share what we have been up to in class with you too!
Have a great day!
Salma, Aoife and Clare :)
