It's the beginning of another month and the end of another week. Well done for completing 4 whole weeks of home learning in addition to your 2 week Easter break!
Have you had a look at yesterday's good learning and special mentions blog?
English - Writing
Today, we’re going to practise our editing and improving skills today.
Here are three sentences about the Zepper 2016. Can you improve them so they capture the reader’s imagination. Perhaps you could include some show not tell in your description?
CHALLENGE: Once you have completed your improvements, have a think about some descriptive sentences for your own invention yesterday.

How are you finding How to Train a Dragon? It's really interesting to hear the author read her own story because we can know it's the actual way in which she wants the story to be read.
Today we're going to read Chapters 5 and 6 (they are in the same video).
When you have finished, create a table to compare How to Train Your Dragon and The Wyrmstooth Crown. You can keep adding to the table as we continue reading the story.
How are you feeling about quadrilaterals? Do you think you can remember all their different properties?
Here is a short video from Espresso to remind you of the main properties. It's missing one of the quadrilaterals we've learnt about, can you work out which one?
Here are some reasoning questions to encourage you to apply your newly found understanding of quadrilaterals.
David Shrigley is a British artist working in Brighton. This animation explores the question of needing to be like our friends – and whether it’s right to try and change people so that they conform and fit in.

A final quick note about next week:
Next week is a short school week. Had we been at school, we would have been off school on Thursday and Friday. We're still having those two days off from learning, so there will only be home learning blogs up from Monday to Wednesday next week. It's important we still have a break from learning and do other things to relax.
Take care, we miss you lots,
Ruth and Emily
