Good morning year 6!
Its Clare here! I have taken over the Year 6 blog today! Can't believe it's been two weeks since I have seen you all and I really miss you all. I miss our chats, laughter and even the noise! I hope that you are all safe. I am really impressed with all the work and I loved your spring poems! They brought a smile to my face :)
What have you all been doing to entertain yourselves? Have you got any funny stories to share? This weekend will be my daughters birthday we will be celebrating indoors just the four of us and honey of course! I have been experimenting with some home baking and thought it would be great for you all to get baking! I saw the cakes Adam F created and sent on purple mash and Sara's carrot cookies! They looked yummy! Send in your pictures. Here are my creations, I made a chocolate tart and peanut butter and chocolate cookies
To start with, I want to say 'well done,' to Aman and Zhraa who sent in their arithmetic answers!
Today, I would like you to carry on with some more challenges. Try these from the White Rose Maths website
As well as the maths, I would like to see some persuasive posters encouraging people to stay in and save lives! I have seen some lovely posters in peoples windows and they are very effective. Why don't you have a try and send us in your creations. You could create them on purple mash too!
I look forward to seeing your great work throughout the day! Be kind to each other!
Clare :) xx
