Good morning all! Hope you are well and working hard at home? Today around the world we celebrate 50 years of Earth day! Have a look at the this website https://www.earthday.org/ to find out more and see how Earth day is being virtually celebrated live from different parts of the world! As it is Earth day, I wanted us to think about the amazing things which have happened to the environment while humans have been in quarantine. Watch this inspiring video below: Did you like it? What are your thoughts? Answer the following question using your thoughts and opinions. You can send them in on purple mash or to our school email! Why is the Earth healing during the human quarantine? What will happen when the lockdown is over? I look forward to reading your responses! So, are you enjoying Thespina and the Scorpidon? Lets read some more! Thank you for all your answers so far. I have read some great responses from Noa, Aqilah, Zhraa and Quinell! Thank you for creating your line graphs on purple mash and for the ones that were sent in! Check out purple mash and even twitter for work that has been handed in! Using the data below- Please create a line graph using titles and an even scale. To start the graph- place the Pounds on the x axis and the Rupees on the Y axis. Don't forget to keep a track of how many minutes exercise you have done and add it to your chart. We will be creating a line graph of this at the end of the week! Every Wednesday, Ruth will be creating a Spanish Blog! We can take part and begin to learn a new language! Have a go at the activities and send in your work to us! Finally, for science, what happens to your body during exercise? Think about your heart, body temperature, perspiration and breathing. Why does your body change during exercise? What happens after you have stopped exercising? Create a chart or fact page to show what your body is like before exercise, during exercise and after exercise. You and your family could try Joe Wicks's workout to see the changes! I look forward to seeing your results! Before I let you go and begin your work... I just wanted to share the lovely welcome messages for Saifeldin and Quinell from some of Year 6! We hope to meet you both soon! Right... I had better let you get started! Good luck and remember to send in your work! I will be uploading some work on twitter and purple mash throughout the day! Have a good Earth day!
