Hello all! How was your day of learning? Thank you for sending in your great pieces! Here are a few I would like to share with you...
First Sara and her brother Yasin sent in a yummy picture of their homemade chocolate flapjack! Really made my mouth water! Looks like they enjoyed every bite! I will be waiting for my share Sara! :)
Thank you to Kalid for sending in your work! I like how you have used the text to help you with your answers! Excellent try with the translating!
Let's crack on with your learning for today! What are your thoughts about Theseus and the Minotaur? Read the passage below from this website:
Write what happens next in your own words.
What does Theseus see? How does he slay the Minotaur? How does he feel when it is over?
Complete this part of the story by: building up suspense, using short sentences for impact, powerful vocabulary and writing in the 3rd person (he, it, Theseus) Don't forget to send in your writing!
How did you find your work on translation? Watch the video below to help you understand more about how to Translate a shape.
How many of the questions can you answer in the image below? Take a look and work your way through. We can try the first one together.
Does the red square translate 4 squares right then 2 up? If I start at the top right corner (3,3) and move along 4 squares right I end up at the edge of the grid (7,3) then if I move that corner 2 square up then I end up where the pink square is! So the statement is correct!
Try some of the others! Good luck - we can discuss this on purple mash!
