Yesterday you were planning your letters about making a difference!
Emily was with group 2 yesterday and she would like to mention Ishaac for his amazing input and great enthusiasm in the discussion. Well done Ishaac!
Today we want you to write your persuasive letter to the Prime Minister! Your plan should have all the key facts and details. What difference do you want to make? Why do we need to make this difference? What needs to be done?
If you're still unsure watch this clip about making your language persuasive:
Remember, the purpose is to make a difference! What difference do you want to make? Why do we need to make it? What would you like your Prime Minister to do? Email your letters to us and we will post them to 10 Downing Street!
I can't wait to read them! Good Luck!
Lets try this great challenge in maths today...
Finally some design technology time: Let's think about famous sculptures that have inspired by important messages or events.
Take a look at these below. Can you identify why they have been created? What message do you think the artist is trying to say?
What do you think of the sculptures? They are amazing!
I think we should create a sculpture to send a message about our campaign to make a difference.
What image would you create?
What materials could you use? (think about what you have at home)
What thought provoking name would you give your sculpture?
Where in the world would you place your sculpture?
Create your sculpture using any resources you have: card, paper, wood, clay, plasticine, wool- anything! You can spend the weekend creating this- make sure you send in a picture and explain your sculpture to us!
We will share the ones we create a school!
I cannot wait to see your designs! Have fun and good luck!
