How is your week going?
Thank you to those of you who have done your videos for Fantastic Mr Fox. We need all of you to take part for it to work so make sure you read Amy's blog and have a go at filming. Here is today's wellbeing task. English
Over the year, we have revisited the use of apostrophes a few times. They can be complicated to understand and lots of adults still get confused about how to use them.
Hopefully these explanations will help you understand them a bit better.
Try and apply your understanding of apostrophes through these tasks.
Question 1
Which sentence uses an apostrophe correctly?
Question 2
Why is an apostrophe being used in this sentence?
Question 3

Question 4
This is also your reading task for the day. While you are reading, see how many apostrophes for singular and plural possession you can find in your book. Create a table like the one below and write them in it. Maths

We use these symbols to help us compare numbers < > and =. Watch this video to remind you of how to use the symbols. In the video the numbers being compared are two digit whole numbers not decimals but the strategies are still the same.
