Welcome to today's learning.
How is your week going?
Here is today's Wellbeing Wednesday task.
English - Writing
How did you get on with planning the appearance of your character yesterday? We're excited to see how your characters develop and what happens to them in your story.
Today we are going to do a similar task to Monday, you are going to think about the personality of a second character. This character is going to be someone who is able to solve problems. For example, if the person you created on Monday keeps dropping toast on the floor of the kitchen, today's character will come up with a solution or if Monday's character is someone who got lost in the Amazon rainforest, then today's character will have the personality to solve the situation and help them get out.
Draw an outline of your new character, just like you did on Monday, and fill it with examples of this new character's personality.
It would be great if you started sharing information about your characters on the Creative Writing blog on Purple Mash.

Today we're at Chapter 8 of The Ickabog, it's the Day of Petition when people are granted an audience with King Fred. Have a read of it here: https://www.theickabog.com/the-day-of-petition/
Imagine that each year Queen Elizabeth II holds a Day of Petition. On this day you can ask her to fix any three things that are wrong in your country, local area, home or anywhere on the planet.
What are your three wishes?
How did you find yesterday's addition problems?
Today we have another opportunity to apply our addition skills.
1. What is the largest number that you can add to 294 so that the total is still a 3 digit number?
2. Which two of the following numbers has a total closest to 400? 234, 168, 211, 305, 129
For example, 23 and 16 have a total of 39.
3. I add a pair of 3d numbers, and my sum (answer) is approximately 300. What could my numbers have been?
4. What numbers could you add to 284 so that the tens digit is 0?
This week, we're recapping what we have learnt about numbers with the help of none other than Sergio Aguero, head to the Spanish blog to find the link and watch the videos and play the number matching game.
Keep working hard, being kind and washing your hands!
