Good LearningBook reviews Marihah, Kayden, Johnny, Sam, Tazkiya, Yasin and Yousif have all done some new book reviews. It has been great to read them. I have attached a few below. Keep up the hard work and keep reviewing the books you read! Poetry It has been great reading your poetry this week, remember to share yours on the Purple Mash poetry blog so everyone can read them. Haikus Johnny, Sam, Sabine and Yousif it has been wonderful reading your haikus. Acrostic Poems Yasin and Yousif have written some lovely acrostic poems. Shape poems It has been great seeing your shape poems, especially the different shapes you have chosen. Thank you to Sam, Yousif, Sabine and Amal for sharing your poems with us. Adventure Stories It has been brilliant to read the adventure stories you wrote last weekend. Yousif, Yasin, Amal, Sam, Johnny, Usama and Sabine each of your stories were so different and so enjoyable to read. You all clearly put lots of time and effort into your planning, writing and publishing. If you can, you should head to the Purple Mash blog to check them out. Work at home Some of you and your parents have been coming up with your own activities at home. Well done for using your imagination. Here are some examples of what you have been getting up to. As well as baking biscuits at the weekend, Yasin has been playing memory games and reading with his mum. Maya and her family spent time this week making this amazing piece of art. I love the use of colour, and although this time at home is certainly strange, they will have something to remember it by. Sam sent in a picture of his water bottle car that he made over the weekend. Yousif has had a go at Wednesday’s DT project and made a bird feeder. Uzayr has been doing lots of maths at home. Special MentionsThere are lots of special mentions this week.
