After a short week of learning last week, it's been great to see you all getting back into your work this week. We have had so many emails with photos of your work and there have been lots of pieces of writing submitted as 2dos on Purple Mash, which has been great to see.
We keep saying it but we are very proud of how well you are all doing despite the strange circumstances. Keep up the good work Year 4, you are impressing us and making us proud of you each and every day!
There has been so much good learning shared with us this week. We're going to break it down into subjects. Have a look below to see if you can spot your work.

It has also been great to see what questions you had about the film before you watched it. Have a look at what Khalil, Sabine, Teo, Yousif and Zakiya wanted to know.
As well as the writing work based around Wing It, some of you have sent in your grammar work related to Pirate Family Smith.

Sabine and Yousif have been investigating sound and make a phone out of cups and string. Did you manage to complete this task? What did you discover?
Sabine, Teo and Usama have completed some of their VE Day tasks this week. The letters are great and the bunting has some very well thought through symmetrical designs.
As always, all of you deserve a massive pat on the back for all your hard work and perseverance this week. We keep saying it but you are coping amazingly in a very difficult and strange situation.
Here are a few of you who we think should get an extra special mention this week.
Zakiya has sent in some of her weekly wellbeing work. It's great to see she's looking after her mental health and it's lovely to see all the things that make her feel happy. Next week is Mental Health Awareness Week so look out for lots of other activities.
Hannah for responding to feedback from Emily on the Purple Mash blog and improving her descriptive writing. It's great to see her growth mindset is still being used while she is learning at home.
Cailey and Angelina for working hard at school and showing great independence in your learning.
Uzayr and Johnny for using the Purple Mash blog to ask questions for clarification.
Olivia and Tahid for engaging more on Purple Mash. It has been great to see you two commenting on the posts and hearing what you have to say.
Well done Year 4, keep up the good work.
