Congratulations on reaching the end of your second week of home learning!
Have you had a look at yesterday's Good Learning and Special Mentions Blog? I have just updated it as there were some photos I had forgotten to add.
We are so impressed with how you are doing and how well you have adapted to this strange situation we find ourselves in at the moment. We have loved talking to you on the Purple Mash blog and receiving your photos in emails. Keep up the hard work Year 4, you are doing brilliantly.
Your poems this week have been great.
Today your task is to write your own poem about how you’re feeling at the moment. Think about how you want to set out your poem and which features you want to include.
This is your chance to use your imagination and share your thoughts!
We’re looking forward to seeing what you come up with and sharing all your poems with the rest of the class.
(I have made a new poetry blog on Purple Mash where you can share your poems, read other poems and comment on posts.)
Can you use your calculation skills to solve this code and find out what it says?
CHALLENGE: Can you create your own message and code? Give it to someone in your house to see if they can solve it.
Although it might seem weird, given we have now been off school for two weeks, today would have been the last day of term. The next two weeks are the Easter holidays and we think it is important you have a different structure and routine for these weeks.
As a result, we won’t be posting English and maths learning over the next two weeks. Instead we will create a blog with ideas and activities you can get up to. There are also some activities on Purple Mash and Study Ladder.
We would love to see photos of what you’re all doing and will try to keep posting them on the blog so everyone can see what you’ve been getting up to.
Keep being brilliant, washing your hands and staying safe.
