UpdateThe children have done some great work since we've started back at school. They have produced some amazing artwork introducing themselves to the rest of the school. Each class has also been learning about an inspirational woman, we have learnt about the author Onjali Q Raúf and created portraits of her. This art will be on display in the hall alongside the work from the other classes. This week we are looking at homophones. These are words that sound the same but are spelt differently. It is important the children understand when to use each spelling and not just how to spell them. They should write a sentence for each work to show they understand this. You will find a 2do on Purple Mash that will help you practise your spellings
MathsThis week's maths is on Purple Mash TopicSchool Council Speech This week you should write a speech explaining why you would be a good school councillor. You should write the speech even if you don’t want to be considered for the role. It's good practise to think about your strengths and to try and persuade people. Here are some things to include.
Don't forget...
Have a lovely weekend, Ruth Comments are closed.
