Good morning - I hope you had a relaxing weekend! It was beautiful weather so I hope you got outside for exercise - remember it is completely safe to do so - as long as you keep 2 meters of distance from everyone outside of your household. Did you manage to do your homework? If not then use this week to do it! Onto today's learning : Reading I would like you to read chapter 2 of Alien street and have a go at the activities. I will be setting other reading challenges from tomorrow but I would like you to continue to read one chapter a day of alien street until you finish it. Have a go at the activities too! Literacy Last week we read the beginning of our new story. I have included the beginning of the story to remind you of the scene. These images are from the next page in the book. What do they show us about the old man? What is he doing ? What do you think think that the text in the story is? Write your version in your homework book. Think abut what the man is doing. Can you share your sentences by writing them on the purple mash blog- I will create a new post for this called The Tin Forest - what is your version? Maths Ordering numbers- you need to use your place value knowledge to help you to order numbers. Geography
Use google maps to have a look at all the green areas in London. Where are they? What are they called? What sizes are they ? Which is the largest green area near you? Zoom in and out to do this! Circle Time Lastly what are you enjoying about lockdown? It might be spending time with family, learning a new skill, having time to do some baking? Send your answer on purple mash!
