Morning year 3 !
How are we? I hope you had a nice weekend ! My mum found an old wasps nest in her shed- have a look at the pictures below.
Just a reminder of the other blogs avaliable on the Virignia website:
The Music Blog The Spanish Blog The ELSA Blog The Assembly Blog Please check them out! A lot of time and effort goes into them and it would be a shame to miss out on them! To start have a go at this spot the difference- get your brain warmed up!
The white part on the second picture at the bottom isn't a difference- it is where I have copied it and it has gone a bit wrong- Good luck!
Literacy
Recap the first part of the story by listening to the first part of the story- then move on and listen to the rest of the tale- there are three parts to listen to in total! Enjoy :)
What was your favourite part of the story?
Do you agree or disagree with Prince Ivan’s actions. You might want to think about: Is Price Ivan wrong to steal from the kings? Should you do whatever you can to gain the approval of your parents? Should Prince Ivan have runaway with Princess Helen? Should he have taken her to marry King Afron? Topic
Last week we spoke about ‘light pollution’ . Above is a satelight image of the world at night- it shows the places with the most light pollution. The places with the most light create the most light pollution whereas places that are dark have little light pollution.
Can you see the UK? Do we create light pollution? How do you know? Can you spot any other countries? (You can use a world map to help you) What do you notice ? Which countries have the most light pollution? Which countries have the least? http://mapmaker.nationalgeographic.org Have a lovely day!
