Today is a bank holiday and so I won't be doing my normal blog post but I will leave you with some homework for you to have a go at over the 3 days off. But first why do we have bank holidays? Read the newsround link below to find out:

May 8th is 75 years since VE Day which marked the end of fighting in Europe in World War Two. People remember this day by having parties - some streets even have street parties. Street parties might not be happening this year but how could you celebrate?
