Merhaba Y2! How are you all doing? I just wanted to give you a heads up about book swap next Wednesday 6th May from 1pm-3pm. All the teachers from Y2 will be in school and we will have new books for you to take home. If you have any books that you have taken from school and finished reading them please bring them back. There will be a box outside for you to leave them in and you will get to collect your new books. I will give you more information about it next week. Now before moving onto today's learning, I have to share some superb learning from the following children: Aaliyah - great work in Literacy, love your role on the wall for Agouti. Also, you found some interesting facts about Brazil and, must say I love your creativity with the title. You can draw pictograms and can interpret data confidently in Maths. I am so pleased with your effort and hard work. Your story about prophet Muhammed in RE was inspiring. Did you know that Abyssinia is now known as modern day Ethiopia? Keep up the good work Aaliyah. Maddie - you have been regularly sharing your amazing learning from home. You are making good inferences about our story. Love your drawing from the Sid the Seed. Also, how cool is your face mask! Keep up the good work Maddie. Amelia and Stela also shared their work. What a great drawing of the tree Amelia with all your achievements. Stela fantastic learning in Maths. I can see you are using the new words to describe turns and movements. Yamin has been busy growing plants at home. Make sure they get enough sunlight and water to stay healthy. Hope you are finding the Maths challenges enjoyable. Reading Have a go at these fun activities below. The first one is listening and following instructions.
