So far you have all read five pages of our new book ‘ The Leopard drum ‘ and you have all learnt that Osebo the leopard ,has a magnificent drum, but he won't let anyone else have it, not even Nyame the sky God. So for English today you will be doing a role play exchange with Osebo, Nyame and Onini.
You can ask your adult to read page by page while you act out what is happening.
You can also use props if you have any or ask an older or younger sibling to help act it out with you.
(if you can please take pictures or videos and send them to us so we can share them with you all ).
Please complete this lesson on BBC Bitesize - Challenge
Objective: To listen to each other and to take turns in conversation.
One child stands in the middle of the circle blindfolded. The other children pass something noisy around the circle. When the child in the middle thinks they know where the keys are they shout ‘stop!’ and point in that direction.
Activity: Getting to know you
Children are in partners. They have 3 minutes to talk to their partner, and should find out 3 things e.g. favourite dinner, best friend, birthday, a hobby etc. the children then all introduce their partner, remembering as much as they can about them.
