Sports Leaders Speeches 2017

Today we had very exciting assembly at Virginia, which involved 13 pupils confidently reading out their speeches in the hope that they will be elected to become a  Sports Leader for 2017-2018.
Well done to all of you who signed up and made it this far. I am very proud of the content and quality of your speeches. Lots of staff  remarked on how well the speeches were delivered, with one or two being quite moving.
It is going to be an extremely difficult choice for just 6 pupils to be selected. Tomorrow, the current sports leaders and I will be counting the votes and will be  revealing the results at the end of the day.
