Thank you to Cara in Year 3 for sending in some photos of her Spanish work. It's great to see what you're getting up to.
Hola!
We're continuing with our Spanish this week and thinking about how we can say how we feel. Those of you in Years 3, 4 and 5 will have done some of this before with Barbara or me in our Spanish lessons at school so this is a good opportunity for you to practise some of what you have already learnt. https://www.thenational.academy/year-4/foundation/saying-how-you-feel-in-spanish-year-4-wk5-2 It would be great to see what you're getting up to so why not send in some photos of your Spanish work? Hasta luego, Ruth Buenas tardes! (Or maybe buenos días, depending on when you are reading this!)
In our weekly Spanish lessons, you will have been learning about the Spanish alphabet and how you say each letter. Have you noticed that in Spanish the letters are pronounced differently to in English? Sometime this can be quite confusing as we're learning the language, especially if the word in Spanish looks very similar to the work in English. This is a useful page on the BBC Bitesize website that explains in a bit more detail how the phonics in Spanish are different to the phonics in English. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zhy27nb/articles/zk78382 There are some videos and lots of different sound clips so you can become more confident in your Spanish, plus there's a quiz at the end. Buena suerte (Good luck) Ruth |
