Buenos días.
How are you finding the Spanish lessons? Remember, when you are learning a language it is important to keep repeating things you have learnt so your brain can remember them. Everything that you are learning online at the moment, we will revisit when we restart Spanish lessons at school. This week's task involves more work about dates and birthdays: https://www.thenational.academy/year-4/foundation/how-to-say-the-date-in-spanish-year-4-wk4-2 Hasta luego, Ruth Lots of you will know the story of the Tortoise and the Hare. It's a fable. A fable is a story that features animals, plants or forces of nature which are given human qualities. A fable always ends with a 'moral'. This is the lesson that is intended to be learnt through reading the story.
This is a short film of the story of the Tortoise and the Hare in Spanish. Why not give it a watch and see how much you understand? What do you think the moral is? https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/zbq4d2p Hola!
I hope you enjoyed last week's video, there was lots of new learning. We will recap this all again once we get back to school so don't worry if you haven't been able to remember it all. In today's video there will be a recap of some of the learning from the past few weeks. There will also be a chance for you to practise how to say when your birthday is. Again, don't worry if there's a lot of new words and vocabulary. We will go over this all again in school once we are able to have Spanish lessons again. https://www.thenational.academy/year-4/foundation/saying-your-birthday-in-spanish-year-4-wk3-2#slide-1 Remember, you could watch these lessons with the whole family and you could all learn some Spanish together. Hasta luego, Ruth |
