Can you go to see the tower they are in? Maybe you could draw a picture of Shoreditch Church - or take a selfie outside!

We have read the story 'A Squash and a Squeeze'. Listen to the song below and join in.
What animals are in the story?
Draw a picture of each animal and think about what sound you hear at beginning of each one.
Can you think of any other words that begin with this sound?
p - p - pig! I hear that sound at the beginning of pen! and pan!
For fine motor practise today try making the animals out of play dough!

How did the animals feel when they thought Old Bear might never be rescued from the attic? How do you know?
What happened at the beginning?

What happened at the end?
What was the most exciting part of the story for you?!

If you are confident to put on and take off your jacket, practise doing up the zip or your buttons by yourself. Or maybe tying your shoelaces? Can you undo the top button of your school shirt?!

Sharing a book at home...
At the beginning of the week your child will choose a book from the book corner and take it home to share with you.
There are many ways to share a story. You can read it to your child, you can look at the pictures together, or maybe they can remember the story and can retell it to you.
After sharing the book you can discuss the story.
