Reception Class Blog 2020-2021 |
For those children who have to stay at home this week there will still be lots of exciting activities and learning opportunities to be had!
We have read the story 'Old Bear' in reception.
Lucy read the story to nursery last year...have a listen! These are some questions you can think about with your grown up at home! How did the animals feel when they thought Old Bear might never be rescued from the attic? How do you know? What happened at the beginning? What happened in the middle? What happened at the end? What was the most exciting part of the story for you?! These are some of the words we've talked about: ladder, marvellous, trap door, rescue, lonely, brave, pilot, handkerchief, parachute Do you know these words? Can you find out or think about what they mean?
Can you make a parachute? What will you make it out of?
We look forward to hearing about your ideas. What fine motor activity will you do today? Have you tried one of these?
Make some number cards!
Start with 1 - 5. Can you mix them up and then put them in the right order again? Comments are closed.
