Good Morning Nursery! We hope you all had a terrific weekend! We can't believe this is our final week before we break up for the summer holidays! You all have been so brave and amazing learners at home and we can't wait to see you all in September, ready for an exciting, fun-filled year of learning! Wow! Look at how far you have come since starting Nursery! You are nearly ready for the next big step of becoming grown-up Reception! Give yourself a big pat on the back and say "well done me!" :)
In the meantime let's carry on with our learning!
This week we will revisit one of our favourite stories 'Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?' Listen to the Author Bill Martin reading the story below..
Here is another read-aloud..join in!
Now, have a go at using the vocabulary words below to make a sentence. Draw what you see in your home and tell an adult in a full sentence what you see. For example 'I see a red rug'
Today for Maths, we would like you to go on acolour hunt! Search around your house for toys and objects in every colour from the story then put them in colour groups like shown below..
You can also draw colour squares on a separate A4 paper if you do not have coloured paper.
Fine Motor Fun!
Have fun making a fork painted bear! You will need a fork, brown paint and whatever you like to make your bear eyes, nose, mouth and ears!
