Cut out these puppy number cards and count the puppies on each card then arrange them in order 1-10.
Make your own 10 frame like the one below. Roll a dice and then count the number of spots you see on the dice. Draw that many dots or place that many counters/pom poms on your 10 frame carefully! Then draw a puppy with the number in the middle like the one shown below.

Watch the story below...
Watch the story below...
Now can you draw your own picture of Spot in his basket. Where is spot? Can you write the first sound in the name Spot? What other things begin with the /s/ sound?
Maths
Today your activity is to hide your favourite toy anywhere in the house and get your family to hunt and find the toy. You could try to hide the toy under, inside, behind something to use some of the words from the story. Have fun! Then you can swap roles where you go and hunt for the toy!
Where will you hide the toy? [Adults can begin by going through the prepositions set below] When you have found the toy can you say it in a full sentence?
For example:The teddy is in the box. The teddy is under the table.
You can also have fun playing hide-and-seek! Just like Spot was hiding in the story and Sally set out looking for him. Have you ever played hide-and-seek before? Who do you like to play hide-and-seek with? Where are some of your favourite hiding places?

Print out these bone shaped templates below and cut around them carefully. You can even draw your own bones then cut them out and decorate with collage materials.. When you have done that have a go at putting them in order from smallest to biggest.
Have a great day! :)
