We are incredibly proud of each and every child for all the learning they are doing at home. We will be posting 'special mention' posts between our learning blog entries to celebrate our wonderful children!
Ayub has made a fantastic rainbow to say a big thank you to the people who help us. Well done Ayub!
Adam has been learning his sight words and practising forming the numbers 1 - 10! Fantastic learning Adam!
Watch the video and have a go at creating your own junk model rainbow!
Good morning Nursery :)
Today, have a go at following these instructions to make biscuits!
This week we will be reading 'Rosie's Walk' by Pat Hutchins.
Listen to Lucy reading the story, and join in with the different sound effects.
Now watch Lucy thinking about the different sounds we hear at the beginning of each of the animal words.
Remember when the bag of flour tipped all over the fox?! Well you could use some flour today to practise forming letters or drawing pictures! Sprinkle some flour onto the table, or in a tray, and use your finger to write. Start by practising your name. Remember to send any photos into Joan at firstname.lastname@example.org - we love to see your learning!
Remember to practise counting around your home! How many socks in the drawer? How many plates on the table? How many pieces in your puzzle?
Well done to all the children in the EYFS (and their grown ups!) for having a go at our online home learning. I'm sure there have been some challenges but it's been amazing to see everybody giving it a go! Over the Easter the break I will be updating the blog every few days with an activity or challenge, so keep checking in, and remember to do your daily exercise!
Here is one of our favourite counting songs to share and enjoy today :)
