Good Morning Nursery! Are you ready to learn today? Have a go at the activities below with your grown up. Don’t forget you can upload pictures/videos of your activities to Tapestry. Have fun!
Art/Mark Making
We are going to be mark making on some bandages today. Doctors and nurses use bandages to wrap around people’s cuts and wounds to stop it bleeding. Have a look at Rakhi mark making on her bandages and what she did with the bandage afterwards!
Number and Shape
Can you help feed Colin the Crocodile 10 sweets from the basket? Can you have a go at feeding one of your toys 10 of something? Remember to count slowly and carefully!
Rakhi went on a shape hunt around her house and found some different objects that were circle shaped. She found 1 big lid from a jar, 1 small lid from a bottle, 1 saucer, 1 burger patty, 1 corn cake and the circle shaped end of some kitchen roll. What circles can you find around your house? Can you go on a shape hunt and take pictures of what circles you find?
Phonics
Listen to Rakhi making some farm animal sounds. Can you copy the sound and guess which animal she’s pretending to be? What’s your favourite farm animal? Say the name and make the sound.
Fine Motor
Aysha’s been busy strengthening the muscles in her fingers and hands again. She’s showing us another fine motor activity that we can do at home. Have a look.
